About Live Safe College Tour

HerFlow Foundation’s LIVE SAFE College Tour was created to address critical gaps in traditional education and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for navigating key challenges in life.

Activities

Interactive Workshops

Workshops will feature topics such as Sexual and Reproductive Health, Financial Literacy, Conflict Resolution, Mental Health, Stress Management, and Responsible Social Media Behavior, providing a comprehensive approach to student empowerment.

Free Fem Products

Products will be distributed to all female students in attendance with additional products given to the nurse’s office to support those students who will require assistance in the future.

Free HIV Testing

Students are encouraged to take advantage of the free HIV and syphilis testing courtesy of our partners, the Jamaica AIDS Support For Life.

Condom Distribution

Jamaica AIDS Support For Life will also distribute free condoms to students as a compliment to the session about Responsible Sexual Choices which is also led by them.

Healthy Life Hacks

All participants will gain vital knowledge including different healthy hacks that will enhance their overall lives.

There is an element of fun and games that includes lots of exciting prizes.

Funding Partners

The CFLI, an initiative under Global Affairs Canada, supports small-scale, high-impact projects in developing countries that align with Canada’s global thematic priorities. The program empowers local organizations like HerFlow Foundation to implement innovative projects that promote sustainable community development.

By selecting the LIVE SAFE College Tour for funding, the CFLI is also deepening bilateral relations between Canada and Jamaica through support for civil society.

Our Partner

The Jamaica AIDS Support for Life ( JASL) is the oldest and largest AIDS-focused, human rights, non-governmental organization. It is dedicated to preserving the dignity and rights of persons living with HIV and AIDS, and those vulnerable to HIV infection; and to help in the fight against the spread of the epidemic in Jamaica.

JASL partnered with HerFlow for LIVE SAFE College Tour to provide important information about Making responsible sexual choice and conduct HIV and Syphyllis testing.
