Beyond Beauty: JIBE 2026 Partners with HerFlow Foundation to Advance Menstrual Equity in Jamaica

Kingston, Jamaica – May 2026 — The Jamaica International Beauty Expo (JIBE) and the HerFlow Foundation have announced a landmark partnership aimed at tackling period poverty and advancing menstrual equity across Jamaica during the 7th staging of the Expo, scheduled for June 26–28, 2026 at the National Arena in Kingston.

Under the theme “The Business of Beauty,” JIBE 2026 will extend its focus beyond industry advancement and position beauty as a vehicle for empowerment, dignity, and social impact. Through this collaboration, HerFlow Foundation will serve as the official Social Impact Partner for the Expo, helping to raise awareness, mobilize resources, and drive national conversation around menstrual health and period poverty.

A key feature of the initiative is a ticket contribution model, where J$100 from every ticket sold through official ticketing partners, The PLUG and Fontana Pharmacy, will be donated directly to the HerFlow Period Poverty Initiative. Funds raised will support the distribution of menstrual care products, reproductive health education programmes, and advocacy efforts targeting underserved communities across Jamaica.

Executive Director of HerFlow Foundation, Shelly-Ann Weeks, welcomed the partnership, noting that the collaboration represents an important shift in how beauty and wellness are understood. “This partnership is a powerful reminder that beauty is not only about appearance, but also about dignity, confidence, and access,” Weeks said. “Period poverty continues to affect the education, mental wellness, and opportunities of thousands of Jamaican girls and women. By partnering with JIBE, we are helping to place menstrual health at the centre of conversations around wellness and empowerment.”

JIBE Expo Coordinator, Suzette Brown, J.P., explained that the partnership aligns with the Expo’s broader mission to create meaningful social impact through the beauty and wellness industry. “JIBE has always represented more than beauty products and services—it is about transformation, confidence, and community,” Brown shared. “Partnering with HerFlow Foundation allows us to use the platform of beauty to support a national cause that directly impacts the dignity and well-being of women and girls across Jamaica.”

The partnership will also include awareness activations, donation drives, educational engagement opportunities, and brand visibility for HerFlow Foundation throughout the Expo. Attendees will have opportunities to learn more about menstrual equity and support ongoing efforts to end period poverty in Jamaica.

Together, JIBE and HerFlow Foundation hope to redefine beauty as not only an industry, but a force for social good—one that ensures women and girls can live, learn, and thrive with dignity.
