  3. Engage participants in a fun, inclusive activity while fostering a spirit of advocacy.
  4. Promote community involvement in supporting menstrual health equity.

Why should you care?

Period Poverty impacts too many Jamaican for us to ignore.  HerFlow is committed to ensuring that every Jamaican has the resources the need to have dignified periods.  You can help.

  1. Empower Girls to Stay in School
Millions of school days are lost each year due to period poverty. Supporting the Red Run helps provide menstrual products to Jamaican girls, ensuring they can attend school confidently and without interruption.

  2. Break the Stigma Around Menstruation
Periods are natural, but stigma and shame still exist. By participating in the Red Run, you join a movement to normalize period conversations and promote education for all genders.

  3. Support Women in Need
Many Jamaican women and girls cannot afford menstrual products. Proceeds from the Red Run go directly to providing essential items to those in underserved communities, restoring dignity and improving quality of life.

  4. Contribute to National Productivity
When girls and women miss school or work because of period poverty, the entire country is affected. Supporting the Red Run is an investment in Jamaica’s future by ensuring everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

  5. Be a Part of the Change
Ending period poverty is a collective effort. By supporting the Red Run 5K, you’re helping HerFlow Foundation create sustainable solutions that will impact generations to come.

Why should you care? Because periods don’t stop for 5Ks—or school, work, or life. Together, we can make sure no Jamaican is left behind due to something as natural as a period.
